Precast Concrete Lintels
Precast lintels are manufactured in "U" shaped form and designed to support predetermined gravity load capacities, thus expediting concrete masonry construction for both the commercial and residential contractor. When filled with concrete grout they form a composite beam system that has added load carrying capacities.
Additionally, precast concrete lintels offer time and financial advantages over cast-in-place tie beams. Many designers like the same texture and aesthetic characteristics of precast concrete lintels since they are similar to those of concrete masonry units. |
